These terms are an agreement between you and [legal name] (“we”) for the Nosy app and service. By using Nosy you accept them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Nosy is not a vet
- Nosy gives information and AI-generated working assessments from photos and what you tell it. It is not a veterinary service, and its assessments are not a diagnosis, treatment or dosing advice.
- AI can be wrong, including about urgency. Use Nosy alongside your vet, not instead of them, and check with your vet before making medical decisions for your pet.
- In an emergency, contact a vet or an emergency clinic straight away. Never wait for the app. Opening hours, phone numbers and other details in Nearby come from third parties and can be out of date.
- Reference ranges for lab values are general ranges for the species, not your vet's lab.
- Training plans are guidance; you're responsible for safety around your dog, other animals and children.
Your account and what you share
- You must be at least 16 to use Nosy.
- Only upload photos and documents you're allowed to share. Photograph your own pets; please keep people out of photos, and don't share your own or other people's health information.
- Don't misuse Nosy — for example by trying to get around limits, overload the service or access other people's data.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings › Danger zone).
Nosy+ subscriptions
- Nosy+ is sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Price, renewal, cancellation and refunds — including the EU right of withdrawal — are handled under Apple's terms and your Apple account settings. Apple's standard licence agreement (EULA) applies to the app.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple account. Deleting your Nosy account does not cancel a subscription.
The service
Nosy is in beta. Features may change, and we may suspend the service for maintenance or security. We'll tell you in the app before we make changes that affect you significantly.
Liability
We provide Nosy with care, but because of the nature of AI and photo analysis we can't guarantee that every assessment is correct or complete. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of service. Mandatory consumer protection law, including the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG), remains unaffected.
Law and disputes
[Austrian] law applies, without the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
